Historic ranch home near Lincoln, NM,  originally built by Sheriff William Brady in July of 1868.  Sheriff Brady was killed by Billy the Kid in 1878 on the mainstreet of Lincoln during the height of the Lincoln County War.  Immerse yourself in history during your stay. The property has a large beautiful backyard for relaxation or play.  Wildlife on the property consists of wild turkeys, barbary sheep, deer, and peacocks.  Visit museums in nearby Lincoln. Capitan, NM, home of the famous Smokey Bear, is within 20 miles.  Ruidoso and Ski Apache are within 40 miles of home.
